The six young men ensemble from Korea will feature beautiful traditional Korean Gayageum chamber music pieces with Yanggeum (lute), Jangu (drum), Danso (short flute) and other wind instruments, Saenhwang and Taepyongso.
The Gayageum is a traditional Korean zither-like string instrument, with 12 strings, although recent variants have 18 or more strings.
It was known as an invention of the ancient kingdom of Kaya in the 3 rd century and probably the best kept traditional Korean musical instrument.
