Dear NYU Students from China, Taiwan, and Korea:

Volunteers needed from the NYU Chinese, Taiwanese, and Korean Student Communities!

Parent/Teacher Conferences at Stuyvesant High School in New York City are taking place this Thursday (March 29) from 5:30-8pm, and Friday (March 30) from 1:00- 3:00pm. Mandarin, Cantonese, and Korean-speaking volunteers are needed to interpret for Chinese & Korean parents as they speak to their students' teachers. Volunteers are welcome to work for any part of those time periods, as all assistance will be most appreciated.

Stuyvesant High School is located at 345 Chambers Street, next to the West Side Highway in Battery Park City, and easily accessible via subway (1, 2, 3, A,C ) trains and the M20 and M22 buses.

In order to volunteer, interested students should contact Harvey Blumm, Parent Coordinator, at 212-312-4800, ext. 2731 or via email at hblumm@schools.nyc.gov for further information. Mr. Blumm will be happy to provide letters acknowledging and thanking volunteers for their contributions to NYC public education!
